Conrad Ray is the 2007 NCAA Coach of the Year, achieved in his 4th season at Stanford University, after winning the 2007 national championship. Conrad played on the Stanford golf team from 1993 thru 1997 as a teammate of Tiger Woods, Notah Begay, Casey Martin, Joel Kribel and other All-Americans. The 1994 golf team won the national championship, the 1995 team finished 2nd and the 1996 team finished 4th.
